French Managers compliment SPGC
Sixteen managers from golf clubs all over France (and one in Switzerland) travelled to the UK for the annual challenge match against the South East region Golf Club Managers Association.
Sundridge Park Manager, Ben Riley, (GCMA Captain) welcomed all players to the club for a good lunch before a greensomes match on the West Course.
Heavy rain cut some matches short but results were declared, with the French leading 5-3 on Day 1.
Day 2 was held at Royal Blackheath playing singles. The English team won the day with 9 wins, leading to an overall tied score of 12 -12. Entente cordiale at it's finest.
Both teams were extremely complimentary about the the West course, food and service provided, and thanked the club for hosting the match.
